After redesigning it’s homepage in the early October, Planet Terasi now has a new look. Ronny Haryanto, the maintainer of the agregator, again made some adjustment of the site. The previous logo changes to a new one with a a box beside the name of the site and a motto under it. The header of the site also changes to greeny color. It looks fresh. Well done, Ron!

WordPress is developing rapidly. Now you are able to download WordPress 2.0 Beta 2 (zip file, 576kb). But, take your risk if some plugins are not compatible with the latest beta release. So, check whether your current plugins will work for this beta release at 2.0 Plugin Compatibility.

Joi Ito has been chosen as one of “10 Most Powerful Women in Blogging” by JackOfAllBlogs.com. The creator of the list said,”Joi Ito of Technorati (http://joi.ito.com ) has her hands in a lot of Web 2.0 companies, some you might not even know about yet. This makes her damn powerful. Often times the one you don’t know that well is the most powerful. My personal favorite because she seems to help people get shit done.”

This is a controversial list because Joi Ito is 100% man. One of the comments stated “Glad to see Mr. Joi Ito on this list. No top 10 most powerful women list would be complete without a man.”

I don’t know why Ito is listed there. Maybe it is beacuse there is cultural gap where boys name in some countries are regarded as girls name.

Jason Fried of 37signals.com threw an interesting question: If Google wasn’t free, would you pay $5/month for it?. I personally have an objection if I have to pay $5/month for using Google Search. But, I do not know my answer if $5/month is for all Google services such as Blogger, Gmail, Google Talk, Google SMS, Google Earth, Google Answers and so on.

Most of us in Indonesia receive email containing photos of a celebrity-like with an important person-like. I cannot judge whether the persons in the photos are the celebrity with the important person because I am not an expert. I got nine photos. Most of the photos are actually for personal usage but they are spreading like viruses from one computer to another. I don’t know the source of the photos and either I do not know who is the first person lanched them to the net.

We need an expert to judge whether the photos are fake or real. Are they real photos or PhotoShopped photos? Are they taken by a camera or digital camera? When did the photos taken? Many questions are still unanswered.
