Hahaha… Joi Ito is One of “10 Most Powerful Women in Blogging” November 14, 2005

Joi Ito has been chosen as one of “10 Most Powerful Women in Blogging” by JackOfAllBlogs.com. The creator of the list said,”Joi Ito of Technorati (http://joi.ito.com ) has her hands in a lot of Web 2.0 companies, some you might not even know about yet. This makes her damn powerful. Often times the one you dont know that well is the most powerful. My personal favorite because she seems to help people get shit done.”
This is a controversial list because Joi Ito is 100% man. One of the comments stated “Glad to see Mr. Joi Ito on this list. No top 10 most powerful women list would be complete without a man.”
I don’t know why Ito is listed there. Maybe it is beacuse there is cultural gap where boys name in some countries are regarded as girls name.

hehehe…. yes, this is hilarious. i met Joi about 3 weeks ago, yes, he surely is he! actually told his sister (Mimi Ito) and she got a good laugh of it. but honestly, if i only heard the name, i might suspect Joi is a female as well.
